Once you take Costume History you can never unsee everything anyone in movies wears ever.
Like how I look at Puss in Boots and see a Cavalier hat and wide brimmed boots or how I look at the Brave poster and see a Kirdle and then twitch a bit because slashing and puffing on sleeves didn’t come in for a few more hundred years.

Did you perhaps try a fabric softner bath (you probably did but jic)? My Vriska wig had a similar fate but after a fabric softner bath I can easily brush it with a fine tooth comb. top to fucking bottom, even. it’s fucking magical.
Yeah I did, it was done. The fibers were ruined.
Awwwwwwww yeah if my schedule works out i’m gonna have class starting at 12:30 MW, 9:30 TR, and no class on Friday again. Gonna start French next fall…this is gonna be interesting.

I have gone through so many Vriska wigs sweet jesus.
The first one fucking died at Metrocon last year.
The second one (current) I straightened thinking I would like it and looking back at AFO pictures where it was wavy I like that better.
So i’m going to keep it and once I find a cosplay that needs black hair i’ll recycle it, but for this con season i’m re-ordering the same...
